The Power of Encouragement Presented By Lynne Cox with Trust Parenting
Presentation description:
The Power of Encouragement is one of many tools parents can use to inspire children to see themselves from a positive perspective. As parents focus on seeing children's positive qualities children will open to the unlimited opportunities that are available to them.
A child's first five to seven years of life is a very important time to encourage children As children develop their body, mind and spirit these early years are filled with many first time occurrences. Consistent encouragement helps support children through the many stages of early life. As children receive positive reinforcement they can grow up with a strong foundation of inner strength prepared and ready to progress from their family to daycare, preschool, kindergarten and early primary school years. How children feel about themselves during their first five to seven years of life will greatly influence how they will behave in society in later years.
As children recognize their talents and abilities, the more confident they will be in their life as they reach for their unlimited potential.
TV and Your Preschooler Presented By Lynne Cox with Trust Parenting
In North America TV has become a major influence in our lives. Choosing TV programs for preschool children is one of the many choices parents make. In this presentation, Lynne will discuss ways in which to use TV as an interactive learning tool for parents and young children. She will share with parents how children learn by observing what they experience in their environment and how children's thoughts plus feelings create their behavior. As preschoolers watch TV, it is important for parents to gain insights into what they perceive about what they see.
